Description

Tulips speak of a time to bloom, to have fun and to be out of doors.

My Tulip Garden was drawn directly in ink using my non-dominant hand. I created this mixed media piece in three layers: ink, bleeding art tissue paper and watercolor. Bleeding art tissue paper is a fun way to add color to artwork. The three layers give this a natural vibrancy.

This artwork was inspired by photos I had taken in a public garden.
